Okay, now for my current list.....

 

1. Sitting with my wife, watching our twin two year olds play, and marveling how much smarter and more beautiful they get every day.

2. Coming home from work, and hearing my kids scream "Daddy's home", running up to give me hugs and kisses.

3. Performing music on a stage, and watching the crowd jump up and down, getting into your music.

4. Sitting at a bar with your buddies, and laughing your a** off, because your drunken jokes are funny, and because you're just happy to be with them, and away from above mentioned wife and kids.

5. Driving through Western Nebraska and Wyoming on a cross country trip with the stereo blasting, and seeing darkness to the left of the road, and the sun still shining to the right side of the road, feeling how good it is to be alive, and believing anything is possible tomorrow.

Taking into account that nothing is better or more important than my wife and family..........

 

1. Happy hour with my wife on Saturday morning drinking a resch's at the Port o Call.

2. Being a country boy and knowing that I live in the most beautiful country in the world.

3. The Clash, The Jam and John Foxx's Ultravox for getting me through to age 21.

4. The Richmond Tigers (OZ Football), Clemson Tigers, Sydney Roosters (Rugby League) and Arsenal Clubs for giving me years of enjoyment and something to share with my sons.

5. My wifes southern fried chicken and Cracker Barrel for having the best breakfast anywhere in the world (Chicken Fried Steak with Sawmill Gravy, Eggs, Gritz, Bacon and Hash Brown Casserole).

Hey, that was the best list anyone posted so far ! I only had 2 of these, but fatty foods were 'bubbling under' and the other 2 figure in my past. The mellowed down list was ok, but not as much fun.

 

What sort of music do you play ?

Yeah, that first list was good, huh? Thinking about it now, instead of gambling, I should have said easy women, and lots of em!! And, for fatty foods, I should have said more specifically any and all pork products-especially bacon!

 

Some people would say the type of music I play is lousy music!

 

Seriously, the last band I had was what could be decribed as funky/alternative heavy metal. At times we sort of sounded like Red Hot Chili Peppers or Rage Against the Machine, with the funky riffs and rapping style vocals. But, on a few other songs where I actually sang instead of rapped, we just sounded like a straight forward rock band. When I noodle around at home on my acoustic, I generally play classic rock, such as the Eagles or Beatles, as well as more current stuff like Dave Matthews. As a performer, I find that I generally like to play harder edge music, while when I'm alone, I like to just play something soft and acoustic.
