Ze-man
What a great Christmas book! Terrific gloss on that puppy. I bet it looks even better in person. That Life With Archie cover, is that actually of a serious tone? I admit I dont know much about Archie, but that cover looks almost like an adventure book, with people in real peril. Not your typical Archie cover, is it? Ze-
143ksk
Yes, Life with Archie was the "serious" Archie title with some adventure and peril type stories in it. The only other Archie title from that time period that had similar stories was Little Archie

underthebigw
And, finally, the nicest Christmas Stocking #1 I've ever seen I couldn't believe it when you showed me this book at the show. Just beautiful, rich colors. The scan does not do it justice. Great pick-up.

underthebigw
Hey, where's your (even nicer!) Christmas Stocking? I have a horrible pic of it posted in the events forum. I'm sans scanner, and it doesn't even look like the same book using my camera. Glad you like the glasses.
Ze-man
I cannot believe it. I went from collecting SA Marvel, to BA DC Horrorr, then found myself seriously looking at silly books with Rich kids, Friendly Ghosts and Hot Devils, Now I gotta add Archie to the list? WTF, would you stop posting books please. What is happening to me? Whats next? Ze-
lotemo
And, finally, the nicest Christmas Stocking #1 I've ever seen That's a beautiful copy! I've never seen one even close to that condition. I'm jealous!
143ksk
I don't know why, but it seems to be much harder to find in HG than Archie's Pals n Gals #1 which is also a giant and came out at the same time. There are 3 Pals n Gals #1 in 9.0 or better in the CGC Census and no Christmas Stocking #1s better than 5.5. I'm very glad to have it to upgrade my 2.0 copy
