8.5-9.0 this is a very cool looking cover, very nostalgic. What's that coming out of the front of his pants? It looks like a super front wedgie gone bad.

Looks to be 7.0 but with that nice black cover it might grade 7.5. I dont see this getting a 9.0 with that top left corner and the back right corner.

I thought it was a proper 7.5 due to the 5+ colour-breaking spine ticks and nearly 2 inch crease along the top edge near the spine... Pedigree bump? Anyway, decided not to bid on this book (closes soon).

I agree 100%. The ULC alone should take it out of contention for a 9.0.

black covers are impossible from a scan so I could see it getting a 7.5, even though it presents much higher.

yep. pedigree bump. i offered my opinion before reading the result. cgc graders are human too, and overgrade sometimes just like the rest of us. would be nice to see some legitimate competition...............
