So my wife read her first comic yesterday. It was book 1 of The Long Halloween and she loved it.

She has read 5 books of The Long Halloween. Then on Saturday we went to a LCS in Boise and she picked up Sin City: The Hard Goodbye.

I've had luck and good response with my SO to:

 

Strangers in Paradise and Bone, like others have mentioned.

 

Buffy season 8,but she was into buffy in the first place, so...take it with a grain of salt, however she hated angel.

 

the book i was surprised that my so liked was Powers, and she really digs it.

 

I could see mouse guard being popular.
