If I remember correctly, this seller was suspended for shill bidding at one point about a year ago? Look at the funny feedback I spotted while browsing this auction. It fits right in line with a recent thread here on the CGC forum!

So what you are saying is that you think the winner was a shill bid.

 

But what about the second runner-up?

 

The price of the book far exceeds the price for the book paid on Heritage a year and a half ago. Why not sell to the second runner-up?

would it make sense for the seller to have a shill bidder try and goose the price when the starting price was met and represents a handsome profit from last year??

 

they'd have to be pretty greedy..............
