If that's tanning on the back cover (and not just an over-saturated scan), CGC would kill it & you'd be lucky to get a 7.0 - if not, it looks like a very nice 9.0

Thats one of my favorite X-Men covers too

I give it a 8.0

Front looks 9.2. Judging by the back cover if you open the book you will find

a lot of stress lines you can count from the inside. I don't think the tanning is

too bad. 8.0!

it is an 8.0 and I thought for sure I can get at least 8.5 to 9.0. I didn't know tanning will get ding that bad.

 

I was disappointed with the grade because all the corners are near perfect if not perfect. There are some spine stress as you all see on the back cover.

 

However, I was more bum with the purple label with slight professional color touch. Unless I use black light, I can't seem to find where right now...

 

One of these days, I will buy a black light just to see where the CTs are. I suspect the spine because the amount of stress on the back cover but no color break whatsoever on the front.

That is a great looking cover. The back spine has many spine creases and light tanning.

 

8.0-8.5.....I think the back cover will keep it out of the 8.5-9.0 grade though....Still a great looking book
