OT: Star Wars in Concert

Hey everyone...

 

Saw Star Wars in Concert last night at Boston Garden. Really fun show, they put together about seven or eight themes, cut together a bunch of related clips and a full symphony orchestra played to it. On the concourse were various Star wars displays of props and costumes, as well as photo opps with various costumed characters. Lots of people dressed up for this, especially the little kids.

 

This was definitely the most fun I've had with Star Wars since seeing the original back in 1977 (although that's not saying much as I pretty much hate all the pre- and sequels.

 

Highly recommended!

I saw the show in Tampa a few weeks ago. What a performance! I loved the props they had on display as well. A great time for any Star Wars fan or anyone who appreciates live music!

 

Only wish they had thrown in some music from The Holiday Special :jokealert:

Can anyone here tell me what they paid for their tickets? When the concert came to Texas last month, the cheapest seats were $175!!

 

Three seats were about $280 I believe. Good seats but not on floor.

 

Is U2 playing the music?
