PGM: Xmen 50

Sorry, these are not the greatest pictures. I am mostly trying to get thoughts on what the "awesome" X's on Iceman, Angel, and Cyclops faces does to the grade.

 

At first I was feeling good about this book, maybe a 6.0/6.5 until I noticed the hard to see pencil marks. Easier to see in the bottom pic.

It isn't that funny... TFL you still think a 5.0 with the pencil marks? Personally I figured it would lower to 3.0 or less but wanted to get other opinions.

So in general I guess because it is hard to detect, it doesn't hit the grade that much? I guess it just bothers me.

The X marks are hard to detect in your photos, that's for sure. I still can't see the mark on the Cyclops or the one on the Angel. But if they are the same size as the one on the Iceman, I'd give the book a 3.5 or a 4.0.

I can barely see the marks. So they can't be all that bad. The rest of the book is in nice shape. 5.0 doesn't seem to be a bad grade for this book. Unless those marks really stand out in hand.

Even in hand, unless you look at an angle, they are not easily seen, but yes, the x's are all around the same size.
