At the last couple of shows of the year, he did the first 5 books for free and charged $1 per book for each one after that. He was always very friendly to me.

Len is pretty friendly and it really depends on how many books you are presenting for him to sign. If you have a small stack, ask him for a rate that he feels is fair. I had a medium stack of Swamp Things and House of Secrets for him to sign, and I think I paid $20, which worked out to less than $2 a signature, so I was happy. If you only have 1 or 2 books, I doubt he will charge.
