Welcome to Round 2 of the inaugural Survivor Series for EC comics!

 

We will be voting off our 20 least favorite covers from the list provided.

 

The goal is to determine the greatest EC cover of all time.

The poll is at the bottom of this post.

 

This is an 8-round marathon. These rounds will last 2 days each. We'll vote off 24 in round 1, 20 in round 2, 20 in round 3, 10 in round 4, 5 in round 5, 2 in round 6, 1 in round 7, and then the final showdown to crown our champion.

How could ANYONE be voting Weird Science 20 off the island at this early stage ? Just goes to show you "different strokes for different fokes" GOD BLESS...

Piracy #6 is among the greatest covers EC ever produced. If it and Vault #37 go, I'll have no more real fav left in this hunt.

When we get to the top 20, I am going to start to realize how great these covers are. I'll be using the full-size scans at that time. I can't wait!!

It's not too bad in these early stages, but later on it's going to get very tough indeed. Choosing the best of the best from each group of very strong covers by Craig, Ingels, Davis and Wood will take some thinking about.

 

It's a shame the Krigstein Piracy 6 cover is doing so poorly. It's very subtle compared to the others but conveys the situation perfectly.
