Wolverine

Hmmm are we counting the adamantium as his weapon? Cuz if you just count the claws, without 'em, I would still say he's a "somebody." He's got the healing ability and has massive strength P:

Well, his claws to count as a weapon right?

Yeah,he does have his healing ability and massive strength, but his adamantium claws make him the bad@$$ that he is now.

Poison Ivy

Greenery = weapons?

((Nitpicker :D ))

Without her ability to control plants she's pretty much useless, so yes.

Her ability is a power, not a weapon. xD

I guess it depends on the way you're interpreting the question, huh? xD

@Marvelfangirl: Minus the claws, yeah, he is no longer quite the badazzery he was. But I think he'd still be pretty impressive, seeing as some people's only power is brute strength xD

But her plants can be used as weapons, so it all fits together.

True 'nuff.

Alright, I'll say she wouldn't be the iconic character she is. She does have some powers beyond the plants, being able to withstand toxins and that....kiss of hers. But without titillating intellect and ridiculously thought out schemes, she probably would be on the outskirts of villians.

Marvel - I say The Mighty Thor without his Hammer.

Thor still has powers without his hammer.

Hammer just makes it easier to use them

I would agree. But without his Hammer for 60 seconds he becomes human.

I think that weakness is gone

I believe todays Thor has the Odin power

Green Lantern (#1 answer)

Iron Man or any other "Armor Suit" Character

Green Arrow or any other "Archer" Character

Captain Boomerang

Mr. Freeze / Captain Cold

I can't count charaters like Batman or Punisher because while they use weapons they don't necessarily have a signature weapon that they ONLY use. Take away their machine guns or batarangs and they still are badasses enough to find other weapons or use other skills to take you down.

Wolverine is also excluded because while his claws (adamantium or bone) are his signature weapons he still has powers. Take away the claws and Wolverine pretty much becomes Sabertooth.

Yes he does.

Thy is very powerful without yon hammer, and nigh invincible with yon hammer!

What would Spidey be without his web shooters?

He'd be Spider Man with super human strength, agility, wall crawling, spider sense and years of crime fighting experience.

Uh, the claws are no more a weapon for Wolverine than hands are for Batman. If you are born with it, it doesn't count as a weapon.

That statement could really be looked at a variety of ways huh?

Actually, the hammer is the source of the power. Whoever holds the hammer possesses the power of Thor.

Thor existed before Dr. Donald Blake. The Odin force is the creator and the source of power for the hammer and I believe Thor carries that in him.

What would Spidey be without his web shooters?

G.I. Joe without weapons

Dr. Doom without armor

Ant Man without his formula

Black Widow without guns (She would still be pretty bad)

Still the greatest Bad- in the history Bad-Assery? (shrug)

Von Doom is a Techno Mage. The armor just amplifies his natural abilities.
