Now, far be it for me to be picky, but does anyone think that, with that wrap and mis-cut, it's going to come back a 9.8?

 

So why is it at $1875 with a day to go?

The miscut will not keep it out of 9.8. Having said that I seriously doubt that it will get a 9.8 and I've been laughing at that auction since the first day when the bidding became insane almost from the get go. But I guess with their 9.6 guarantee it's worth a shot since the current high bid is still below what the last few 9.6s have sold for.

The better question to ask is not if the book would actually get a CGC 9.8, but does anyone honestly think the high bidder is actually going to pay for the comic?
