Legal Size Scanner for Slabs

Can I get some recommendation from the folks that have scanners for their slab books? I would like to know which brand and product you have and your overall opinion. If you can, please post an example scan from that scanner. Thanks! (thumbs u

Microtek ScanMaker V6UPL purchased like 9 years ago. Works like a champ, always has. Example scans using default software and hardware settings are visible in my signature line. Might be impossible to buy new, not sure it works with Windows 7 nowadays, but I got it working on Vista after maybe a half-hour of web searching.

I just got the hp8250 yesterday, like a few guys have in that thread, and so far have liked it. That said, here's a scan from it, I just need to figure out how to ditch that glare.

Also, you won't be able to get that glare to go away completely, but we discuss it in detail in the first thread I quoted and there are a few ways to minimize it a bit.
