the fact that there are votes for both Showcase 79 and Green Lantern 8 lead me to believe that there is some confusion about the voting process

the fact that Green Lantern 8 has the most votes of all the Green Lanterns means there is some confusion about the voting process. or people are just voting willy-nilly. or are stupid. not sure which way to go here

I am more concerned that every single issue of Action, Adventure, Aquaman and Atom all have more votes than any issue of Green Lantern.

There are some great covers there (Action 300 for example) and no series should lose all its entrants in the first round.

I don't know, Sal, I like 5 other GL covers before that one.

well, you did volunteer yourself to run this thread, you know :baiting:

That may have to do with the number of comics to look at and the number to vote off. People may just be looking at the first bunch that appear and begin picking them off, rather than scanning the whole group of them and then making a decision.

I am shocked at how many votes the A part of the DC ballot got. It is almost as though people decided to just vote off the first entries on the list .Every A but 1 has 9 or more votes and only 10 of the remaining. For some reason almost all of those are W titles where the votes got concentrated as well.

Adventure 294 is a GREAT cover. With President Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Jerry Lewis and Bizzaro. No friggin way that whould be in the first batch voted off.

I love Adventure 294. It is certainly an iconic cover of the way society was in the early 60s, especially since it came shortly before JFK and Marilyn's deaths...

Adventure 300 I kept on the list...maybe not a great cover, but an important turning point in the series...

I don't have any Aquamans, but those covers are great!

I voted for one of the Aquaman covers b/c Aquaman is a LAME superhero.

He wouldn't be that lame if he had a sharp, pointy thing coming out of his arm, would he? hm

compund fracture?

This was a fun vote, and as a DC fan most of the covers have been seen a zillion times...but Wonder Woman #96 was a nice surprise.

Never paid much attention to silver age WW. (shrug) This caught my eye though, clean design, the fireman's carry works, colors....

BTW, any of the 5 in that first row of Sea Devils are GREAT covers. Hands down, any criteria used for judging... Great. Covers. Period. :cloud9::sumo:

This thread needs a :bump:

There should be anywhere from 50 to 100 people voting and we've only had 35-40 so far, approx.

Let's go people, get those votes in!! (thumbs u

PS. Is Anthro still leading the way as the biggest loser?
