Sorry... too much rubbing/color loss, and almost no gloss IMO for a 5.5... I would call it a 4.0/4.5 at best...

Two corner creases and a crease through the moon, but otherwise looks pretty sharp. I'd say 5.0. I really don't see how it could be a 6.0 with three creases.

So, since you have the book in hand, what was your grade on it?

Very curious since there seems to be varying opinions.

I'll put my guess in at 4.0 also, based on the fact that mine got a 5.0 and looks nicer overall. I was shocked with my grade when I got it back but that was years ago. I've heard rumblings CGC has gotten "easier" on their grading so....hmmmm. Eddie

In hand, I graded it at 5.5 - There are some stress marks, but they don't take away from the cover. As for glossiness, I always considered this a soft focus cover - it doesn't look faded, but I've never seen one really intended to be glossy.
