Seller has this at a price based on it being close to NM 9.4 I believe its closer to an 8.5/9.0

 

Sorry about the HUGH back cover scan..

 

Any input appreciated.

Definitely a sweet looking copy. Looks like a 9.2 to me. However, I'd be concerned about the possibility of trimming along the opening edges, front and back.

I see at least 5 distinct stress lines on the spine, so I'd say 9.0 tops, and probably more like 8.5. Definitely a nice copy, but no way in hell is it a 9.4.

The large back cover scan helps out as the creases are very visible. Looks like a 8.5. Great book but not a 9.4.

Hi Steve! Yes 8.0/8.5 because you can see all the spine creases along the back cover along with blunted corners and wear at the upper staple.

I have to agree, it looks a little suspect, the back would indicate the front should overhang a little.

 

It's hard to tell from a scan for sure, but that edge looks pretty sharp, maybe a little too sharp. Then again, I was recently the victim of a trim job, so maybe I am overly paranoid.
