This was the last purchase I made from NIK, our favorite greek and all around wonderful board member. As many of you know, Nik passed away suddenly last year, and many of us still hold a lot of our purchases from Nik.

I can't remember if this was an OO book, it's been a while---but it's something that I've had for the last few years, and I'm pretty sure it's my last Nik book, or 2nd to last.

 

Two things I would like to state...book looks pretty killer. For a 9.2 purple, it's stunning. There are non-color breaking bends on the back that can be pressed if that's your thing.

 

2nd, I would like to say that if the winner likes, I will take this book to Pittsburgh Comicon for a Roy Thomas signature series, at my cost.

I love Brunner. YOU should love Brunner!

I don't see many of his s/s books around, and this cat is elusive when it comes to shows...ie....maybe once a year, from what I've seen.

 

This is the guy that did the covers for Howard the Duck 1, Doctor Strange #1, Giant Size Man Thing #4, Man-Thing #1....lots of classics in his bronze age war chest. This book was early 1980s and one of the FIRST titles from First Comics.

They did Jon Sable, Warp, E-Man, etc....great, great stuff.
