Pretty much what you see is what you get...the marks along the lower BC spine are soil marks and not a stain...

Top edge wear, spine creases, blunted corners, and from the back looks like possible more

non color breaking spine stress lines. I would say at best a 7.0 IMHO!

Tom, is that a tear about half-way down the spine on the B.C. scan. Also looks like a faint stain further down on the B.C. spine edge.

See my original notes...it totally looks like a stain is why I gave the note, but I guarantee it is only soiling...same with the mid-spine mark, just storage soiling along the spine...

I'm in the same range here. Too many creases on the top edge over-hang and the soft bottom corner. Still a decent copy with good color.
