I hate to sell this, but need the $$ It is a printing plate ( black ) for the cover of Captain America #264 . Its in great condition. Asking $125.00

Nice Plate. I have an original Captain Marvel Jr Plate and love it.

 

Guys these make great decorations and you don't have to worry about damage to them. Oh no, is that light going to fade my books or yellow my original art. Great way to display a cover with the worry free hassle of a statue.

I think someone else had a bunch of them last year for sale and they sold out fast. Anyone recall?

 

Yup. We both bought them from another forumite last summer. I have another one from a West Coast Avengers issue (Hawkeye face) that I bought last year.

Just curious, what proportion of these books do you actually think were printed on THESE plates? How many of these plates would they use per book? hm

 

It's my understanding that there is only one set (four plates for four colors) for each cover/folio.

Because the plates are durable, only one set is needed.
