Conan the Barbarian #10 CGC 9.8 White Pages - at Ebay for US$ 0.99 no reserve

According to GPAnalysis only one similar copy has been sold during the last decade, so if you do not get this one, you may have to wait until the year of 2025 for the next one ;-). CGC Census is 7 copies at CGC 9.8 and none better - so this is "top census" and a great chance for other collectors to own one of Barry Windsor-Smith's best Conan stories (and Conan the Barbarian #10 and #11 are the only two square bound books making Conan 10 quite special):

The last sale ended at US$ 550 (source GPAnalysis), but currently similar books have passed the US$ 1000 mark (at Comiclink Conan 7 and 23 CGC 9.8 are for sale at respectively US$ 1300 and 1100). Furthermore, about from Conan the Barbarian 1 to 3, issue 10 has historically been of greater interest:

Well, I do not know how many old-school Conan fans care for this, but next year in the upcoming Conan movie I just saw that Mickey Rourke is Conan’s father and Jason Momoa is Conan:

Although Momoa may need a bit of skin bleach to look like at true Cimmerian, it may work - at least women may have something nice to catch their attention and draw them to the movie theaters - and Conan always had his way with women. Anything but another Schwarzenegger brute would be much more in line with the original Conan text stories, as they for example were illustrated by Windsor-Smith. According to rumors, the movie budget is about US$ 90 mill, so they should have a chance to make a good movie that furthermore may increase the interest in Conan and especially the first Barry Smith books... Well, I guess we will all know in a couple of years :-)
