the monkey is made by a respected teddy bear maker from the 20's. I always thought they looked kinda cool & creepy so i was trolling on ebay a couple years ago looking for "stuffed monkey" trying to find a listing and saw that thing. It was love at first sight confused-smiley-013.gif i won it for $5 since that was the opening bid & it didn't mention anything about its age or maker. Now that i am moving i need to clear some (non-comic) space, so i had to let the dear thing go.... I asked my girlfriend to hold it so i could take a picture and she just backed up against the wall and shuddered! It creeps everyone out who sees it. It was really fun to have around. The "hook hands" are the final touch, its just deranged. Oh well, off to a new lover i suppose thumbsup2.gif
