Just wondering if anyone has any information on these prints by Gene Day that were printed by Aardvark-Vanheim Press.

 

 

I picked these up a few years ago and was told that they were unlicenced and fairly rare. I couldn't find anything online.

I know these are not original art, but thought that some of the member here may have some info.

The portfolio was advertised on the inside covers of Cerebus #1. I had heard that many of them were destroyed when they were found to be unlicensed, but have heard of a few other sets popping up over the years.

Well, the counterfeit Cerebus #1 also has the ad - if you can find one of those, it may be less expensive than trying to find an authentic #1!

I think Cerebus bi-weekly also reprinted the ad (it reprinted everything else from the first issue) and they practically give those away
