Stevemmg
Actually, it’s sin-kev-itch. That’s how they explained it in the letters page way back in the Moon Knight days. I’m okay with you not liking his work, more for me. Edited May 7, 2020 by Stevemmg

It's like I'm looking at one of those magic eye posters from the 90s. Everyone is like "I can see it" and I'm like "what, what, I can't see it, is it a sailboat?". To say nothing of the vast number of ways his name can be pronounced (it's shin-kay-vitch, people!) He’s like artichoke, an acquired taste for sure. I was/am a massive fan of the New Mutants series in the 1980’s with Magik being a favorite character. Bill was at the center of that so...I’m in the like camp... bounty_coder and Randall Dowling
Popular Post bounty_coder
I wanted to share some of my recent pickups. I'm generally not a number chaser. But to have the opportunity to get some near perfect copies of some of my favorite books I had to ride the pony. I've found this HR#2 to be more difficult than issue one. This is Don Rosa's old copy. Super happy to be it's new custodian. I'm also a nerd for things like how this is an October issue and adorns a predominantly Orange cover 🎃 Jayman, JRBaxter, ArkhamCastle and 8 others
Popular Post bounty_coder
This Dracula Lives #9 is by far the hardest issue to get in VF/NM or better out of the run. Don't know if it was a lower dist issue or not. Either way when I saw an opportunity at a 9.8 I knew had to go for the Hail Mary. If 20 years of My collecting these prior hasnt dug one up then go Big or buy a Wig. Popular Post bounty_coder
Eerie #10. Gray Morrow serves up a cover that for me is one of the more iconic of the run. Stevemmg, The Lions Den, stippy52 and 6 others

Popular Post bounty_coder
I'm not quite sure how they got away with this but Creepy #88 basically has whole boobs on the cover. Popular Post bounty_coder
@Stevemmg and I are now 9.8 brothers on this lucidly chilling Santa stalking Sanjulian work. What a scene. Love that black light poster feel of the Spirit back cover as well. How fun are these? Popular Post bounty_coder
The last issue of Savage Sword of Conan. Notoriously difficult due to lower print run. But for me the Buscema Ghoulie Goblin cover and black back cover pinup are what really makes this Cimmerian cook. stippy52, chevalmeow, ArkhamCastle and 5 others

This is Who We Are
Hi All, This isn't a magazine but I figured it might have a place here: James Warren Empire of Monsters. I believe this came out in 2018 or 2019 and as quickly as it was released, it seems that it went out of print. I'm excited to jump in to this one. I saw it come up at auction recently and just by chance, saw there was one in stock through an online bookstore. Anyone who has by chance read this, would love your feedback. It's about all Things Warren, so hoped I could get a pass in posting this here. Randall Dowling
Just an open question for the board. I regularly search magazines on eBay (it's a tough market but I still look). More and more, it seems, I see listings that don't give a grade but use other words to suggest condition. Sometimes it's "pre-owned". Other times it's "new, unread". But the one that gets me is when they describe the magazine as "used"... My question is this- Am I the only one that feels a little dirty buying a "used" magazine? It doesn't sound like the kind of thing I want. I don't know how it was "used".
