SDCC #2 (1st Hellboy) and a few other SS (Patrick Stewart, Joe Simon, Stan Lee)

52 posts in this topic

Hey all!

Just going to list a few books here before listing them on ebay this weekend. :takeit: rules, but I'm open to offers. If I'm working with someone through a PM, I'll do my best to put the book on hold in the thread.

Shipping will be $7 for priority shipping to the US for the first slab...add $2 for each additional slab. I'll split international shipping. This thread will stay open until Sunday night.

Thanks for looking!

San Diego Comic Con #2 (1st appearance of Hellboy)

CGC 9.4 SS signed by Mike Mignola and Matt Wagner

There's also an unwitnessed John Byrne sig on the first page that's not noted on the label, so I guess you'll have to take my word on that.

Great opportunity for additional signatures...look at the names on the bottom of the book. A GPA 9.6 SS sold for about $200, a 9.2 SS went for $100, so lets split the difference.

$150 :news: SOLD

Wizard Ace Edition: Incredible Hulk #181

CGC 9.6 SS Signed and Sketched by Herb Trimpe, Signed by Len Wein and Sean Chen

Last GPA (with a sketch, no other sigs) $75

$70 :news: SOLD

I should add that this used to be in a 9.8 holder before Wein and Chen signed it. I see nothing wrong with the book. If someone were to get Quesada to sign the book, I wouldn't be surprised to see it back in a 9.8 holder.

I got a great Zeck sketch in the recent opportunity, so I figured I'd share the wealth by offering this one at less than cost.

That's a 2 part story arc. It continues in DHP #200. In the thrilling conclusion, he switches hands an scratches them with his Right Hand of Doom. Pretty sure it notes that on the label. (thumbs u

What he said.

Someone convincing CGC a few years back Next Men 21 (with a case of them sitting under the desk) was his 1st appearance is what caused the confusion.

At least it isn't like the Goon, with Avatar Illustrated 1998, Dreamwalker 0, Barbie & Ken Special 1, and then Goon 1.

SHOOT! Did I let the cat out of the bag about B&K 1? :o
