#1 X-Men Registry Set for sale on CLink; 151-300 and beyond

10 posts in this topic

Hi everyone,

As many of you have seen the past couple months, I've been selling my X-Men registry set on ComicLink and this month's batch represents the last of it. For sale starting tomorrow are the copper and modern Uncanny X-men issues. 151-300 are being sold individually with 301-514 being sold in lots of 25. Many of the variants in this run are also being sold individually, so check them out as well. This is an amazing opportunity for the serious X-Men collector to put together an award winning copper/modern set. Not just top grade copies but also many Signature Series books as well. It took me many years to put this run together and many dollars. Now is your chance to put it together for a fraction of that.

Here are some of the highlights:

165-174(Paul Smith run) all 9.8

201 (1st baby Cable) 9.8

210-213 (Mutant Massacre) 9.8

244 (1st Jubilee) 9.8

248 (1st Jim Lee) 9.8 and a 2nd printing 9.6

256-258 (great Jim Lee run) 9.8 with 257 signed by Jim Lee

266-269 (1st Gambit) all 9.8

275 9.8 and second printing signed by Chris Claremont also 9.8

281 9.9 MT

282-283 (1st Bishop) 9.8

342 Rogue cover signed by Joe Mad

375 Wizard Authentic Edition signed by Joe Jusko with COA

475 Sketch variant 9.9 MT. (The only 9.9 and only one graded higher)

Multiple variants of #500 including the Ross variant signed by Alex Ross and Matt Fraction

508 "Wolverine Art appreciation" cover 9.9 MT

And all the annuals from #6 on up.

I'm also selling Incredible Hulk #340 9.8 Great copy!!

Ends in one week. :) [/quote

Good luck on the auction. Are you moving on another title ?

Thanks. No, just putting everything on hold for a while. My life changed with the arrival of my son, so I'm putting things in their proper place.

good luck and before you know it...you will be back.

I left in 2003 for many reasons but one was to focus on personal life, getting married in 2005 and then my son was born in 2007 and then returned to the hobby in 2009 so you might be surprise how fast you can or want to return. With your luck you might be able to buy back your collection at a cheaper price...given how people think there are so much high grade bronze stuff out there ;)
