Human Torch #12

 

Generally considered to be the best Human Torch cover, and one of the best Timely covers overall, this one has it all! Alex Schomburg art, female bondage, a sadistic torturer, and most shockingly, a graphic depiction of HT burning the torturer's arm! The interior features a cool story with Nazi rockets.

 

This copy is in Good condition and it's unrestored and complete. There is a date stamp of "Jul 15 1943" inside the front cover. There are some small chips and tears along the spine and edges. There is no restoration, but the interior of the spine has been reinforced with tape and it shows through in three spots: top, center, and bottom of the spine. Page quality is cream to off-white, with some staining in places (see scan). This is a great lower-grade filler copy, or a nice reading copy since it's solidly held together.
