Strange art days - Kevin Nowlan & Paul Pope

Hey All,

 

This week has been a spectacular week for new art so I thought I'd take a minute to boast about it here, and to drop a little praise on a fellow collector too.

 

Through no planning on my part, I managed to get TWO Strange Tales covers...One by the excellent Kevin Nowlan (from the 1987 series) and the other by the 'Comics Destroyer' Paul Pope (from the 2009 mini). Both absolutely amazing for their own reason and you can see them here -

Sandman collector extraordinaire Rob Casteel made the Pope piece possible (he picked it up at a local show, he doesn't have a special in with Pope if that's what you're thinking!) so I can't thank him enough for the help. Rob, you are a fine specimen of comic art collector and I thank you!!
