I'm not so sure; I'd like to see that listed at $5,400 to start, with no reserve, and see if anyone actually bites. A lot of those "reserve nibbles" are from bidders that know they're under the reserve price.

I was wondering, lets just say the reserve on this book is $60,000 the guy thrill bids with $54,000. Could the seller end the auction early selling at that price??? I never have ended an auction early with a reserve on it so i wouldnt' know

No, I don't believe you can, at least without deleting all the bids...

Well I have sold things at the current bid price by ending the auction early, but only on NR auctions on dumb stuff.

In order to change the reserve amount (or delete it entirely) you must first delete all bids. If you end an auction before the reserve is met, no parties are obliged to sell or buy.

 

So it's a Catch-22 if you wanted to change the reserve, since you'd need to get rid of the bids and hope they come back. :>

He is right, with over 800 comments I can tell you. If you want to change, you have to delete all bids. If it has hit reserve or if there is no reserve, you can end and sell when you want.

It used to be a 9.8 with White pages; I remember seeing it. I'm sure water-walker sold the 9.8 and put up another scan for a 9.4 with the same picture filename.
