I know a Tom and a couple or three that press books, but no Harry. hm

So which of the three enhance a pedigree hm

:jokealert:

I would guess any of them, but I don't use to press my books.

@MastrCntrlProgram -

I don't know if I'd call $50 after shipping both ways, and six weeks wait time, affordable in some cases, but I definitely agree that it's a better idea than having at it yourself.

There are others out there that do it much cheaper AND Faster. :gossip:

So I've heard.

I've heard that too and can confirm it as being "possibly true".

Possibly true can be taken in many different ways. Could it mean the beginning of being possibly true, or the end of being possibly true. I'll go look it up in the Ovestreet. Be right back.

It just depends on who you want to send it to. A couple of bordies and I (Shameless plug) do them for around $10. The handful of Professional restoration companies that do them charge $12 I think for modern with the average around $50 .

There are good reasons to send them to either, it just depends on you, your wallet, and the book. :)

Disclaimer : prices of Professional Restore companies are estimates and not all companies were recearched.

Unfortunately that's really the only info out there on pressing since it was purged from these forums. From what I've read it a combination of humidity, heat and pressure. Obvious, but without a recipe the cake can be a flop. Censorship bummer.
