Where can one find CGC info on the number of books given that grade?

5 posts in this topic

I just joined the GPA site and it's cool.

One thing I wanted to see was the number of certified books that exist for a give grade.

Such as how many FF1 9.2 are out there CGC graded? How many at 2.0?

Is that data public?

Thanks

Thank you!

Quick question...

If the census says 54 copies of TOS 39 in 5.0 grading...does that mean there are only 54 certified copies graded by CGC in the entire world?

Somehow that seems really low to me but...perhaps it is right?

Thanks

yes and no....assuming that all the books that were submitted and graded....and later cracked and resub, also mailed in the old label.

So, the right answer is CGC graded 54 copies of that got a 5.0 but the chance that 54 CGC 5.0 exist in a slab at this moment is less than 100%

You should search "Census" and read up on the various debates on how the census is not entirely correct.
