The book is not an 8.0 it is pretty clear he has over graded it based on the picture there is overall wear and tear, spine ticks, bottom corner crease and right edge handling wear.

 

Beyond that, his "CGC guarantee" is pretty decent should he honor it.

I am tempted to call this an 8.0

It's a bit of a stretch at 8.0 with those edge creases as well as the spine wear and reading crease. He's not far off but I wouldn't call it an 8.0 myself.

6.5 to 7.0...those creases parallel to the open edge are killer.

I had several successful transactions with him. I think most people here objected to his melt-down on the boards.

No better than 7.0. But this is at least a 9.0 by eBay grading standards.

For a book being offered on Ebay. The grade really isn't all that bad. I could see this getting a 7.0/7.5 IMHO. It may even be a bit better in hand. Who knows??
