REFERENCES FOR PRINT RUNS from 1995 to 2010?

I say 1995 only cause I remember the big shakeout then but Im not sure of the year. If it was 1994, 95 or 96. What year was it that all the baseball card dealers bought like 100 copies of each book only to find out that some books had millions of copies with only say 2 million collectors. I think it was 95 or 96 but I could be off by a year or two.

The collapse of the comic book retail industry in the 90's happened over years...but you're referencing the Image/Valiant/Marvel/gimmick/variant cover/Sports card/comic shop explosion and subsequent implosion.

 

And let's not forget Wizard, Fan, Hero Illustrated, etc.

Sure was an implosion if I remember right. Do you remember Turok # 1 or when Magnus was up to issue 14 or so and everybody who thought they were going to make tons of money had like 30 copies of each or more.
