FLASH ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

To make things a little more interesting. I have just been given information on a little drawing to take place in San Diego.

For EVERY book/item to be submitted for a Stan Lee signature either mail in to DWC or onsite at DWC booth(Saturday noon deadline). Each book/item will have a raffle ticket go into a barrel. After 1 PM on Saturday, Stan Lee will pull out 2 winning tickets and the 2 winners will win something special from Stan. There is no limit to how many tickets each person can earn. So the more you submit the better your chances are of winning. The announcement of WHAT the prize is going to be will be coming out a few days later..

No meet and greet is scheduled this year due to Stan's very tight schedule. But something tell me something cool is coming our way. lol

Is it possible I might know the answer on this one? If it is and it works out, I'll be mum, but I'm sorta drooling. :headbang: If it's something else, then I'm still drooling. :acclaim:

Countdown to the Stan Lee drawing is just around the corner. A few changes and more info so read carefully.

Onsite submissions of Stan Lee signatures will be accepted for the drawing up to Friday, July 23rd at noon. 2 winning tickets will be immediately drawn at 12:15 pm on Friday afternoon at the DWC booth (#3919). Each winner will be immediately notified and then will be able to choose one of the following choices:

An opportunity to personally meet both Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane. Get 1 item of your choice signed by both and get a photo taken with both legendary creators. Winner must supply the camera. Winner must be at the DWC booth by 1:30 pm on Friday, July 23rd to be escorted to the meeting. (The winner will get to spend a few minutes with both creators based upon the creators availability.)

or

1 - Avengers #1 Romita Sr. DWC Convention Exclusive CGC Signature Series 9.8 signed by both Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. (Winner must claim this prize by no later then July 30th, 2010)

Needless to say if the winner is not in San Diego for the con then the winner will only have 1 choice.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to Chandler Rice and especially Sharon Rice for thier hard work last week at the 2010 Comic Con. I don't know how these folks pulled it off. Poor Sharon was in extreme discomfort all weekend (still recovering from surgery), yet she still managed to do her job. She is a real trooper. Thank you DWC for all that you do!
