PGM: ASM #16 Rare higher grade Pence edition

16 posts in this topic

Hi folks..

I would really like to hear some thoughts on this book.

There is 1 in CGC census at 5.0...

Front cover has a couple of "marvel chip" area's...more like "pre-chipping"...

The back cover has a couple of very tiny "rust/stain lines" on the back,i asume from stacking.

Thats about all i can add...

I'm sure this book will catch someone's attention,i know most look at the Pence copies as a second rate to the original, but this higher grade book has to be 1 of very few in this condition.

Grade might depend on how CGC looked at the "rust" or stains you mentioned. If the book is not 100% supple (interior pages, I mean) you might get a 7.0 on this. If the

stacking (the book next to it) had some moisture happening, this one might too. Just my 2c

That miswrap has to hurt. 7.0-7.5

No CGC deduction for mis-wraps in that grade. That's a production thing.

No deduction for miswrap in any grade. Print flaws count as nothing. Look at the ASM #86 in my sig. Really miswrapped.
