Supanova Perth Acquisitions (Joe Kubert and Stuart Immonen Pieces)!

My hometown comics/media/anime/gaming convention, Supanova Perth 2010, was held last week-end and it was huge thrill to meet industry legend Joe Kubert for the first time and to catch up with old friends, Stuart & Kathryn Immonen!

 

The highlights of the convention included a Sgt. Rock sketch from Joe Kubert (arranged and completed prior to the con) and an amazing gift from Stuart & Kathryn Immonen in the shape of the original to the numbered litho which accompanied the collector's edition of the AC/DC Iron Man 2 soundtrack!

It was also a privilege to have Joe and his offsider Gabe Bridwell visit my home to view my collection of original comic art before they departed Australia. Later that day, I caught with up with Stuart and Kathryn for dinner before they flew out. It was a fabulous con experience!
