It takes no skill whatsoever to undergrade a book . . . The goal is to nail it.

However, that long color-breaking crease is going to limit its technical grade to no higher than a 7.0 . . . no matter how sharp it is.

I have to agree here on 6.5 That crease is just too long for me to go 7.0. Still a decent looking book.

In hand it doesn't look like the crease breaks color. Which is sad because it's such a nice looking book. Nice white pages and square corners. Thanks.

I have similar books with similar creases in 7.0 slabs, so I have to go with that.

Looks like a 7.0 to me. Could have been a 7.5 if not for the big crease at the lower right bottom of the book.
