I picked this up at an auction. This looks like a really nice solid comic. I'm just not quite sure I'd get knocked down for the color break creases in the corner and near the "E" in stories. I'd say if it didn't have this it would be at least a nice solid F. What's your take?

I was just reading about the 1954 subcommittee hearing and they talked about this cover. I love William Gaines response when asked if it was done in good taste -

 

"Yes, sir; I do, for the cover of a horror comic. A cover in bad taste, for example, might be defined as holding the head a little higher so that the neck could be seen dripping blood from it and moving the body over a little further so that the neck of the body could be seen to be bloody."

 

Classic! Nice book. I grade it 5.0 :applause:
