Well, I only picked up one piece at SDCC, but I'm still pretty happy. I've been looking for the "right" piece from this memorable run and, thanks to Albert, I think I found what I was looking for!

 

Take a look at the splash from Issue 109, the second Byrne/Austin issue, and where John's style really moved away from Cockrum to his own distinctive style.
