Grade my DD 131 please...

Did I miss something?

I figured 9.2 at worst.

The only thing I see is the light color crack on the right side of the book.

 

Nah,...he's just being foul and bitter....

What does the back look like? Is that a crescent crease on the right edge?

 

I thought it was when you pointed it out, ...but it's actually part of the print....

If that thing on the right edge is not a crescent crease but is a loss of color, then I'd give it a 9.0-9.2. If it's part of the art on the comic itself, then 9.4.

 

It's not part of the art,..that much I'm sure,..but it's too smooth to be a thumb crease,...more like a scratch.....but you can't feel any abrasion when you touch it....

[*]Speckling around the "RED" in DAREDEVIL.

 

[*]Some creasing, scratches or some kind of color loss in the word "BULLSEYE".

 

[*]Depending how accurate the scan is there seems to be a significant color loos in the yellow just above the word "GROUP".

 

[*] A "crescent crease" on the right edge as noted earlier.

 

Back cover

[*]A little dirty with some scuffing.

 

[*]A flaw in the center of the bottom edge.

If that book grades 7.5 to 8.0, I'll trade him a VF+ copy of the same book for it any day of the week.

wow - now that's pretty harsh. but, i do see the things you've managed to locate, albeit they seem very minor. i'll go with a 9.2. the overall structure seems superb and the book looks new. thumbsup2.gif

However...we are grading a scan and I must calls 'em as I sees 'em...hence the stringent grade....besides...I've had "harsh" grades plenty of times from CGC to know that it is the little things that count with Modern books... 893frustrated.gif
