+1 that looks like a great candidate for restoration.

2.5 seems right -- looks better, but that tear through the pages at the bottom staple will drop the grade lower than the quite decent eye appeal would suggest. (For that reason alone I don't think it's a good resto candidate -- it would take some time & money to resecure all those wraps, and with that $ you might as well just buy a different copy.)

I agree I wouldn't go the resto route. I have a restored BS that I am having a difficult time selling.

Leaning toward a 2.5; hopefully a 3.0. Nice book as is. It's a classic cover. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind owning a similar copy if the price was right.
