x-men 35 and 94

Hey guys, These have been with my family a long time. Not sure the grades on my own. maybe a 6.0? 6.5? 7.0?

 

Just give it to me straight.

 

 

And are they worth CGC or not? Or just keep as is for grade?

I think #35 = 7.5

 

#94 = 6.5 at best

 

as far as slab worthy? tough question...i wouldn't.

Do the date stamps make a big difference in CGC?

The #35 looks like a very solid 6.5 that might possibly go 7.0 depending on the inside, etc.

 

The #94 has a lot of small problems, but the creasing on the lower rfc combined with the tears on the right side in the middle bring the grade down the most. I see a 5.0

 

The date stamp should have no effect on the grade.

Neither is worth slabbing unless you personally prefer the case for your display.

These were my dads book, and well Now that I have them. The 94 is a higher profile book, I figure by slabing it, it wont get any more damage and will be protected.

On books in those grades CGC will not take the date stamp into consideration when grading.
