I used to have an ASM 14 9.4 OW 2 W...I sold it and bought artwork though.

Hi Kevin,

I am sure you made the right sale decision at the time. I started buying original art in 1979 but have eBayed most of my non-personal OA collection. Keep on collecting!

I sure did...I have no regrets about it.

What was the grade on the ASM #14 before it was pressed?

The ASM #14 was pregraded by me raw at 8.5 white pages.

More GPA info for Cgc 9.0 but not sure of pg. quality for below sales:

Mar 30/10 $3,300

Dec 13/09 $2,271 (perhaps due to lousy page quality or listing auction at X-mas time)

Aug 23/09 $2,750

July 28/09 $3,200

Mar 2/09 $3,200

GPA recorded the serial number, so I checked it out and the page quality was OW to W. Perhaps it was a cracked slab or had an unfortunately placed date stamp / writing on the cover. Whatever the reason, that buyer definitely got a bargain at that price. I'd call it an anomaly, your asking price is certainly a fair one.
