It has been a very busy week, and there is a LOT of new art to show for it. Here is the latest

news from ComiConArt and the Ed Benes Studio:

* all pages to Birds of Prey #4, an old school Birds of Prey cover, and new pinups by Ed Benes, including a Benes Studio jam used as the cover to the SDCC art samples portfolio

* 75 new Superman, Birds of Prey, and War of the Supermen pages by JP Mayer - pencils by Eddy Barrows and Adriana Melo

* 32 new Birds of Prey and Teen Titans pages by Mariah Benes - pencils by Jose Luis and Adriana Melo

* Over 140 new pinups from the Benes Studio, including new work from Marcio Abreu, Fabio, Alex Oliver, Rubismar da Costa, Alisson Rodrigues, Carlos Silva, Reginaldo Souza, Leandro, Gardenio Lima, Fred Benes, Mariah Benes, Ric, Elton Ramalho, Carla Torres, and Daniele Torres!

And...we created a special limited edition Benes Studio Art Samples Portfolio to be distributed to editors and publishers at San Diego Comic-Con. These portfolios are saddle-stitched, comic-sized 32 page booklets with cardstock covers, featuring sequential samples and pinups from artists Marcio Abreu, Gledson Barreto, Leandro, and Alisson Rodrigues

 

The cover features a new Benes Studio jam piece by Ed Benes, Marcio Abreu, Alisson Rodrigues, Leandro, and Fred Benes. We produced 100 hand-numbered books for SDCC, and we are now offering the remaining copies of this beautiful promotional booklet on a first-come, first-serve basis. Supplies are limited!
