Huh, from reading this thread I realized I have the Uncanny X-men 303 Pressman variant that I had got in just a comics grab bag. Unfortunately the old owner didn't know of its significance so the book is probably only around Fine.

I rarely do this.....but I'm taking a page from the Absolute Hardest to find 70

s books and not mentioning it until I find a copy.

Picked up a NM copy of the 3rd printing of Hulk 377 in a Nashville comic shop, paid a whole $1.99 for it. I'm definitely going to submit it, there's only 3 copies on the census as of now.

Somebody who wanted a copy couldn't find one, it was brought up on this board, instant collectible.

I think it's genuinely rare, I just also think a mention on this board is what made it the current hot order.

About 200 printed, then they all vanished. The other golds show up now and again, but the Prime has shown up once in the last 5 years.

Now that I think about it I think I might have a pretty rare Ultraverse book. Not really a comic, it was a preview. It was a giveaway at a con so I'm sure plenty more than 200 have been printed but I have not seen a copy since the day I got mine. Let me see if I can find a pic.

I see a SILVER holographic cover just sold for $19.99 from comix4all...was that the one you bought?

 

The silver holo is common.
