...a certain character better than your fav? My fav is Ploog, but Brunner, Alcala and Starling did better renditions of Man-Thing than Ploog. Now I like Ploogs .......ah....ah.....his Man-Thing meh , but the above mentioned are better, especially Brunners cover for Man-Thing # 1.

I'm going to go with character for a second:

I LOVE Dini's Harley Quinn, but Dodson's work in the Harley Quinn comic was *awesome*, bringing her to a new, truly 3-dimensional level.

And Guillem March's Gotham City Sirens work makes me drool.

Even though my fav artist on ASM was Ross Andru,

I can say that other artists created certain things better...

Ditko drew a better more fluent Spiderman that I would feel would

be how a real man if he were a spider would act.

Romita drew better girls and a better polished Spiderman.

GK had the muscles down pat, nobody could draw a better anatomy than him.

that and those crazy angles.

The thing I loved about Andru is he loved what he did and it showed.

It as been told that he took his camera out and made photographic studies

of an area that he knew he was going to draw spidey at. He stuck to those studies so

closely that in issue 138 it backfired because readers would pester the owner a certain

house in Red Hook on the prospect of whether the "Mindworm" lived at that address.

In general he is a superb artist!

I figured "drool" was more PG than the original intent. P:
