New WALKING DEAD pics from AMC

I liked the cast photos I saw a few weeks ago, but I worry the zombies are going to look cheesy compared to the stark realism of the drawn books. Can't help wishing this were shot in black-and-white. Even so, fingers crossed & psyched to see what the finished shows look like.

As long as Kirkman is involve with the show,I shouldn't be worry about the show being campy or cheesy 2c

That's exactly what I was thinking...I can't help but think that the actors palying the zombies are going to look "alive"....in the sense that you see emotion rather than the cold blank dead stare captured so accurately in the books.

Cool pics, cant wait to see the series! Still wondering how they will address the issue with Rick losing his hand...will the do some CGI magic or let him keep it.

I JUST read the first volume of the TPB yesterday, so it's cool to know what's going on in these pictures. It looks good.

Me too......and I'm looking forward to getting the rest of em. I agree, it would have been cool to be shot in B + W ........ then they could have done a special CD release of all in color in a year or two.

I haven't messed around with my LCD big screen but I remember most of my old TV's I could take away the color from shows I was watching or even video games and make things black and white TV. Maybe some people can try that trick if their TV allows it.

The zombies are going to look awesome. Trust me on this one. (i was one of them) I couldn't see myself in those pics, but i worked on those scenes. I did see a few of the friends i made on set though.

Let's see a pic of you in zombie makeup! Surely you snapped a few.

(I'm not doubting you, I just want to see more of anything WD-related)

I would love to, but i had to sign a contract prohibiting me from taking any pics or talking about most anything. I almost hesitated in even mentioning that in the above post. I feel like i can get away with saying something like the zombies are awesome looking. Talking about plot points or showing pics (even if i had any) is not in the cards unfortunately. They kicked a few people off the set for just having their phones out. This is the first move/tv show that i have ever worked on that i had to sign a confidentiality agreement for. I am actually glad for it, as it will maintain the mystery of the major plot points etc.

The bolded section now has me worried that they are going to seriously deviate from the comic. If they weren't, why would you have to sign an NDA? It's not like the trades aren't available from Amazon or any LCS...
