Yes, because as we all know, the Michonne of the comics was a song and dance gal, always cracking a joke and singing a song.

1) We are talking about the TV show, not the comic

Where did you form your expectation of her personality if not from the comic?

If you read the comic why would you ever expect a gregarious girl-of-a-thousand-faces?

She was never the female Jim Carrey. She barely said three sentences a comic when she was introduced. lol

She's made the same damn facial expression for about 7 years now. You're not really saying you expected something entirely different are you?

Does anyone remember how Daryl and Merle got along during the first season? How was their interaction with one another?

They didn't. You never saw them together.

There was no interaction between the two to reference.

Yeah. Viewers got a sense of their relationship from Daryl's flashbacks and how mad he got when Rick left Merle on the rooftop.

Michael Rooker did such a good job with the character in just a few episodes that he made an impact on viewers that it lasted until he was reintroduced this season.

My 2c

I'm going to rewatch it tonight. I'm glad they are doing some things differently to keep it fresh for the fans (be honest, if it was a carbon copy of the comics it wouldn't be as appealing - we'd all know what was going to happen). With that said, I am a little disappointed the Gov. up to this point is a little chumpish (was hardcore in the books). Michonne's character is a little disappointing as well.

I guess it's true what they say. If you read the book, the movie is a let down. At least we (for the most part) have experienced TWD in its true form. Overall, I do enjoy both mediums of TWD (just hate the wait until February now).

Oh, what the heck is Andrea's character doing? That is just a weird varation for me since she was so intregral to the group in defending the prison. I guess we'll find out. (thumbs u

Ryan

Hell we would all settle for the actress to be able to act - my god she is terrible!

this is where we disagree. Danai Gurira has been excellent imo.

Wow.....yea I couldnt remember seeing them two together. Interesting. hm

It might have been better if we could have seen them together to gauge their relationship instead of just have the reaction of Daryl.

I'm glad some of our opinions aren't swayed by an entertainment website :baiting:

IMHO I don't know why the comics are going down in price, when they should be rising in price. Maybe they aren't going down, but that's just what I've been reading. I really haven't been watching them closely.

I love this series so much, I hope I never have to sell my collection...........never say never.
