i just saw the trailer today too. at first i didnt even recognize him then i was like

Yeah, I saw the Machinist and Bale was incredibly skinny. It made the movie even more frightening.

I was working in a video store around the times of The Machinist and Batman Begins. I remember reading that Bale weighed 120 in the former and 219 in the latter.
