Uncanny X-men 247 (Great colors and eye drawing action pulling you in)

 

Wolverine 8 (Nice blue background w/ static Mr Fixit and Wolverine in suits)

 

Captain America 286 (Just perfect!)

 

Uncanny X-men 213 (Davis drawn close up of Wolverine vs Sabertooth)

 

Web of Spider-Man 31 (another Zeck with eye catching perspective)

And I totally agree about these covers. :cloud9:

 

But did you ever go back and re-read Hulk 340? The internal artwork isn't as impressive as I remembered, IMHO.
