I just read the DiceX thread yesterday too...

 

 

Totally unrelated but does anyone remember the seller on eBay that was selling near perfect cover repro's... mostly you'd see a Green Lantern #1 (1940) or All American #16?

 

Is he still selling and does anyone know the story behind that?

He's a board member,Fedoraman I believe.Very nice repro covers for sure.

This is the part that's curious to me. Not necessarily the staple placement on the front, but the fact that there appear to be two sets of staples (one on front, one inside/back). I wouldn't quite say it's unheard of, but it's unusual. Do both sets of staples go through to the centerfold, and hold it securely? Anything unusual going on at the CF, that would suggest a married cover or other tampering of some kind?
